FARGOBUILDING FEATURED

     At a recent builder’s convention in Tucson, Arizona, the Urban Plains Center was featured.

     The one-hour presentation was called, “Leading the Way in Design.” The speakers were Jeff Furstenau, President of Olaf Anderson and Son Construction of Fargo along with two executives from the CECO Builder’s Conference.

     The three speakers outlined the planning, design, steel manufacturing, and construction progress of this building.

     The excellent designs and magnificent video from Icon Architectural Group from Grand Forks were appreciated by the attendees at the national meeting. They provided fly-through animated video and 3-D architectural drawings to illustrate the completed complex.

     Contractors from all areas of the United States were amazed by the construction progress, despite the snow and cold of our North Dakota winter. Most attendees at the convention are from the southern and eastern states.

Olaf Anderson & Son Construction staff recently attended the 2008 Ceco Building Systems National Convention in Tucson, Arizona where we received an award for being one of the “Top Ten Builders” of the 786 authorized Ceco Builders nationwide. A Ceco Builder since 1988, we also were recognized with the $24 million Cumulative Volume Award, and three of our buildings were recognized for photo honors.
